How do I send money with Wise?

1. Register with Wise.

Wise ask for your e-mail address and you create a password. You can also sign up by connecting to your Google or Facebook account.

Tip: If you already have a Wise account, go to “Home” on the website and select “Send money” or tap “Send” in the app to create a transfer.

2. Enter how much you want to transfer.

You can start with the amount you want to send or enter the amount you want your recipient to receive.

Tip: If your recipient needs a certain amount of money to reach your recipient, write that amount in the box that says Received to the recipient. Wise automatically tell us how much to send.

3. State what type of transfer you are making.

If you are sending money from a personal bank account then this is an individual transfer. Learn more about corporate transfers. .

4. Fill in your information.

Wise ask you to enter your personal information, such as your address. This information is necessary to ensure compliance with financial regulations; but it is never shared.

5. Indicate to whom you are sending the money.

If you know the recipient’s account information, add that information and Wise’ll send the money to that account.

If you don’t know the account information, simply enter the recipient’s email address.

If the recipient uses Wise, Wise find the account from which he wants to receive money.

If the recipient is not on Wise, Wise will send your recipient an email requesting their account information.

6. Review your transfer information.

Make sure everything is correct. If you wish, you can add a reference for your recipient.

7.Select your transfer type and payment method

We show you how much each option costs and how soon the money should arrive.

Tip: Usually the cheapest payment method is to make a transfer from your bank account. So, you need to go to your internet banking or your bank branch and send the money to Wise.

8. That’s it!

After Wise receive your money, Wise will confirm the transfer via e-mail or app. Wise will notify both you and your recipient when the money is on its way to your recipient.
